WANTED
If you run a web site which posts results from any European drag racing events, whether it's a club meeting or an international event, please let us know. Alternatively, email the results to us and we'll be happy to post them here on EuroDragster. The address is news@eurodragster.com.

Main Event Latest
24th May: Two new records and two horrific crashes. Read about the highs and lows of the first two days of the Main Event at
Tony B's web site.

Pictures from an Exhibition
22nd May: Pictures from the Press Day to promote the forthcoming Main Event (FIA European Drag Racing Championships Round 1) at Santa Pod Raceway are now available on
Tony B's web site and on Tog's Drag Racing Page.

Hauser Web Site / Altered Ego for sale
20th May: Stephen Talbot has created a homepage for Hauser Racing, at
http://www.talbotrace.demon.co.uk/hauspage.htm. He also informs us that John Menetrier's gorgeous Altered Ego is for sale. Details at http://www.talbotrace.demon.co.uk/altered.htm.

Malmgren to knock 'em for 6
13th May:
Michael Malmgren, driver of the Panasonic Pro Stock car, tells us that he's got a brand new Bob Ingles engine under the hood of his Cutlass for this season (and a new Loors paint job). He's gunning for the title and reckons if conditions are right, we're going to see some 6's this year. These Scandinavian slammers stole the show at last year's Main Event. Looks like they might just do it again.

UK Points Standings
12th May: Current points standings for the RAC/MSA British Drag Racing Championship, ACU UK Drag Bike Championship and SPRC Drag Racing Championship are now available
here on EuroDragster.

It's a girl but Anita must sit out Main Event
9th May: Anita Makela had a baby girl on Sunday 3rd May. Eurodragster sends congratulations and best wishes to Anita and husband Tommi Haapenen. Anita is still recovering and so will miss the first round of the FIA European Championship, the Main Event at Santa Pod Raceway (UK). The Lantz team's first appearance this year will be at the Alastaro (Finland) FIA round in July. More news on
Peter Lantz' web site.

Avon Park Super Series - Round 2 results
5th May: The results of round 2 of the Avon Park Super Series are available at
TonyB's and at UK1320. Also, Fay and Paul Fischer give the Park a well-deserved pat on the back. Read all about it at the Fay Fischer Racing web site.

McDonald's Pro Stock Team
2nd May: The new McDonald's Pro Stock car is a 98 Firebird, not a 96 TA as reported here earlier. Latest news is that the team will be at Santa Pod the week before the first round of the FIA European Pro Stock Championships, so we may get a glimpse of the car at the Run What Ya Brung on 17th. Thanks to Lasse Jansson for the news.
